We are very happy to share that one of our JI Core 50 Members, Adam Fulford, helped launch an online store called My Shuraku Nakatsugawa, which sells products from a small village in the mountains of Yamagata Prefecture. At least 200 yen from each purchase will help support the Future Committee, comprised of a group of local leaders, which works to connect the people of Nakatsugawa to the broader international community. For every purchase made, you will also receive a special Nakatsugawa post card!
The online store sells maple syrup, wild vegetable mix, delicious side dishes, and incredible snow potatoes that are matured for two months in a yukimoro, which is a traditional Japanese cold storage facility that uses snow to improve flavor while keeping the food fresh. Purchase your batch of local foods HERE and savor their beautiful, fresh taste!
**Please note that My Shuraku Nakatsugawa can only ship to addresses in Japan.
