International ambassadors to Japan, including those from the United Republic of Tanzania, Singapore, Liberia, Rwanda, and more, periodically meet with Japanese government representatives to engage in meaningful discussions. At each gathering, various speakers present topics of interest to the ambassadors to help foster an insightful understanding of Japan and its cultural nuances.
On June 17, Head of Train to Globalize (educational service) at Jarman International, Austin Auger, was invited as a speaker to share his expertise on cross-cultural communication. Auger reflects on his reflection as follows:
“I was deeply honored and grateful for the opportunity to present insights regarding my specialty of successfully navigating intercultural differences. We particularly focused on the aspect of communication, and its impacts on business transactions between Japan and the ambassadors’ respective countries. The session was interactive, and we discussed various scenarios, exploring ways to achieve win-win situations for successful business ventures. I am sincerely thankful to the ambassadors and dignitaries for their active engagement and keen interest to further strengthen partnerships and achieve even more effective collaboration.”
