December 5 Theme is the Wild Wild West
Stately men in tuxedos escort elegant ladies into a brightly lit ballroom. Each holds a tall glass of tasty champagne and as they seek out their place at the decorative reception tables, they greet friends and colleagues with a smile. The Ball has a theme like “New York, New York” or “Saturday Night Fever”, etc., and hand made centerpieces on each table ring with holiday cheer and programs at each seat describe the charities to benefit from the evening’s auction and sponsor donations.
This is the event this year set for December 5th and the theme will be the Wild Wild West!! Be there and join the square (dance!)

True to form, the American Chamber of Commerce combines generous giving with class and fun each year at its annual Charity Ball. Unlike any other I attend, this ball finds the perfect balance between elegance and fun. Usually held at the Tokyo American Club or a nearby Tokyo hotel, the ball attracts up to 300 guests, both from the US, and pretty much every where else.
It is a night to forget where you are. Forget the minutes ticking by and come together in the pure joy of the Season, an almost completed year and all the expectation and excitement for the year to come. Do you know someone in the ACCJ?
