BIO:
Glenn grew up in Washington, D.C., and came to Japan immediately after graduating from college, with the intention of spending a year or two here, as an adventure, before returning to the U.S. to start his “grown-up” life. Forty years later, the adventure continues! He was lucky enough to find an interesting city, Yokohama, and a satisfying job, as a History teacher at Saint Maur International School–not to mention marrying the perfect wife and partner! While he occasionally visits the U.S. and travels in other parts of the world, he has no desire to live anywhere but Japan. For him, it is the ideal environment, and he’s enthusiastic about sharing his experiences and appreciation for Japan with others.

Favorite Thing About Living in Japan: The low crime rate and convenient public transportation system.

Favorite Place to Visit in Japan: Castle towns and “sho-Kyoto” towns with picturesque landscapes.
