On September 28th, Jarman International hosted a charity golf cup at EastWood Country Club (Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture) in partnership with Tokyo English Lifeline (TELL), an NPO that has been providing effective mental health support and counseling services to Japan’s international community since 1973.
Held for the third time this year, the now annual TELL Hero Cup was a grand success, raising the highest amount of funds so far (148,000 yen), along with all 35 participants becoming “TELL Heroes”.
In order for TELL to maintain their NPO status, they must receive a minimum donation of 3,000 yen from 200 people (“heroes”) every year. During the TELL Hero Cup, all 35 participants donated a minimum of 3,000 yen, therefore contributing to the continuation of TELL’s Lifeline and Outreach services that offer life-changing support to people in need across the country.
Jarman International is honored to partner with TELL, and hope to collaborate on more meaningful events in the future.
