On May 24th, the CPTPP Cup took place at the renowned Taiheiyo Club (Narita course), organized by the Canadian, British, and Australian/New Zealand Chambers of Commerce in Japan. CCCJ Golf Committee chair and JI Core 50 member, Warren Arbuckle, reflects on the meaningful purpose of the event:
“The CPTPP Cup provided gorgeous weather and a friendly atmosphere for networking and deepening business relationships among participants from various countries and industries. The event aimed to promote the CPTPP (Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership) vision through the sport of golf, bringing together 137 players from over 20 industries across 5 continents to compete in a partners format. It was graced by the Canadian Ambassador to Japan and received overwhelmingly positive reviews, with 93% of players expressing interest in participating again next year.”
Jarman International was honored to sponsor this event that brought together so many diverse and forward-thinking professionals who play instrumental roles in Japan’s globalization. We are looking forward to continuing our support of similar events that unite various communities, and as a result, help bring the world a little closer together.
